About Isaac
I’m Isaac F. Slepner, a lifelong Philadelphian who lives, works, and plays in the Greater Fishtown area. I am licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. After earning my bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University, I returned to Philadelphia to achieve my law degree at Villanova University School of Law. I began my career working on real estate issues for homeowners and protecting consumers from fraud, but quickly found my niche as a solo attorney, focusing mainly on real estate transactions, business services, bankruptcy, and labor and employment law. I also enjoy dispute resolution and am a certified arbitrator with the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
I work out of 2628 Martha Street, an innovative building known as an incubator for growing Fishtown businesses, and live in the neighborhood. I’m also highly active in the Fishtown, Kensington, and Port Richmond communities, including the New Kensington Community Development Corporation, and Fishtown Area Business Association.
When I’m not helping local business owners with their legal needs, you’ll often find me enjoying a craft beer and an Eagles game at one of their establishments, helping organize community events like the Kinetic Sculpture Derby and the River City Festival, or going for a run in Penn Treaty Park.
I sometimes blog about my adventures in law and in life.
